Question 1

Why do travellers choose Schiphol Meet and Assist?

Accepted Answer

Our customers value the confidence and convenience of being fully supported throughout their journey at Schiphol. With exclusive and professional guidance, seamless service and high-quality personal attention. We take care of every detail so they can travel with ease and peace of mind.

Question 2

What happens after I book?

Accepted Answer

You receive confirmation of your request straight away. Four days before the service date you get a message with your host details: name, meeting point, time and phone number. From that moment you can contact your host yourself. Twenty-four hours before the service we send a reminder, and the day after your service we ask you how it went. Your dashboard shows your booking and is where you pass on any changes.

Question 3

How do I recognise my host and where do we meet?

Accepted Answer

You will recognise our host by the black blazer with white blouse and by the name sign with your name on it. Four days before your service we confirm the meeting point and time by email, and that is where your host will be waiting. For departures this is departure hall 2 or 3. For arrivals and transfers it is your arrival gate; Schiphol decides which gate that is, so it can change. If you arrive earlier than the agreed time, your host will not be there yet. You also have your host phone number, so you can always call.

Question 4

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Accepted Answer

You submit this in your own dashboard and we confirm it. Cancelling is free of charge up to 72 hours before the service. After that we charge 25% within 72 hours, 50% within 48 hours and 100% within 24 hours.

Question 5

What if I book last minute?

Accepted Answer

You can book right up to shortly before your trip. If you book within four days of the service date, you will not receive your host details four days in advance but as soon as possible. If your service falls within 24 hours, a surcharge of 50% is added to the amount. We will do our very best, but with a last minute booking we cannot guarantee that a host is available.
